MantraSound DJs provide a superior and tailored disco
matched to your requirements and expectations. The advantage of
booking through us is that we are able to match DJ style to customer
requirements, making your reception a smoother and more seamless
experience with no unpleasant surprises! All our DJs are experienced
in reception provision and will dress for the occasion if required,
as well as observing the norms of reception etiquette, such as
first dance etc.
In relation to costs, we make a minimum charge starting
from £195 which includes the first five hours
disco/DJ performance (eg.7:30pm -12:30am). Prices may vary depending
on the region, and you will receive an exact quote on application.
Any additional time is charged at an hourly rate. If you require
unattended background music throughout the meal or at other times,
this can also be arranged at a lower rate. In some areas, such
as London, we operate a Scale B pricing framework to cater for
market values, and we will inform you of this when you submit
your availability check.
MantraSound is an agency specialising in wedding discos. Our DJs
offer a playlist service where you are
given the opportunity to list any favourite tracks and styles
you would like catered for during your reception. These tracks
and styles are then worked into the disco service, giving you
the chance to hear your favourite songs at your wedding*. Customers
are also encouraged to describe the style of DJ-ing they prefer,
whether silent, compere or other. Should customers not wish to
provide a playlist, our DJs carry a huge selection of music and
will specifically cater for the audience with the type of music
they wish to hear, taking account of both young and old. We also
provide a basic selection of disco lighting which help to create
the disco's ambience and atmosphere. Specialist lighting effects
such as smoke machines etc are available by separate order.
All of our DJs are covered by their own Public Liability Insurance,
and all are contracted to PAT test their equipment regularly.

The Playlist
The ideal playlist should consist of around 20 or 30 required tracks,
a shorter list of favourite bands, and a general description of the
styles you are looking for. Obviously we cannot cater for absolutely
every possibility, and with rarer requests may ask that these are supplied
on CD. If there are any types of track you do not wish to hear, these
should also be mentioned, giving your DJ every opportunity to strike
the right balance!

Karaoke information

Karaoke organisers are available as comperes and technical assistants
with professional equipment and a large selection of classics and
more unusual tracks to sing to.

accompany its discos. Many classic wedding receptions, in our experience,
have included a format such as the following:

Availability check
To check whether
we have availability for your disco or entertainment, please fill in

Payment
When we contact you verifying availability, we will direct you to our
Paypal online credit card payment facility for an immediate booking.
Cheques are also acceptable, providing issued promptly, and we will
send you details of this as well. Your payment will be followed by the
issue of a confirmation slip and contract which we generally issue online.
The signed contract must be sent to the DJ by ordinary mail.
